SHARING IN SECOND LANGUAGE LEARNING
The
Presentation Sharing tools use slides creation software like Power Point for
educational or business purposes. The usage of these presentations are very
common nowadays and there are different sharing services available, like
SlideBoom, Prezi and SlideShare.
The
slides creation programs allow teachers to review different topics with
presentations that can be complemented with images, audio and animations,
making them more engaging and interactive. Educative slides is that they can be
used to review topics in class with the students, but the sharing possibility
allows the students to download them for further reviews, or as part of
homework.
In
the second language learning field, presentations are important because they can
be used to reinforce mostly the writing and reading skills, but they also
include the capability of adding audio and animations, which can be used to
work on the listening/ speaking skills -when used in the classroom-.
